Good Faith Estimate |
||||
The Good Faith Estimate document is sometimes referred to as the pre-HUD Settlement Statement. The Good Faith Estimate essentially is a estimate given to the borrower within three days after the application for the loan has been submitted, and includes a estimated amount of total costs they can expect to pay for the loan. The Good Faith Estimate document is usually very close to the amount of money in fees that the actual loan is. |
