Every state has different rules on how notary journal entries, but most state require you to do a journal entry once all the documents have been signed. In some states not only is it required for the borrower to sign the journal entry but they must also leave their thumb print. Generally it is a good idea to keep journal entries, but you should check with your states notary regulations.
